Experimental determination of the shear and flexural stiffnesses of a sandwich panel.
Abstract:
The method described was selected after careful evaluation of those available. The test employs a five point beam bending system to a strip of the sandwich panel. A method of cross plotting the measured deflections to determine the required stiffnesses is described.Format: PDF.
