ESDU 73017
Reynolds number, speed of sound, dynamic viscosity, kinetic pressure and total pressure coefficient in air.
Abstract:
ESDU 73017 presents graphs of Reynolds number/metre in an International Standard Atmosphere for Mach numbers to 10 and heights in metres or feet to 32 000 m (105 000 ft). A graph also gives the Reynolds number in a wind tunnel working section for Mach numbers to 10 as a function of reservoir pressure and temperature. Curves of the speed of sound as a function of pressure and temperature, and dynamic viscosity as a function of temperature, are given. Kinetic pressure in an International Standard Atmosphere is shown graphically for Mach numbers to 10 and heights in metres or feet to 32 000 m (105 000 ft). Finally, the isentropic compressible flow expression for total pressure coefficient is given and shown as a graph to a Mach number of 10.Indexed under:
