Abstract:ESDU 67007 is one of a group which deals with the dynamics of aircraft. It considers the assumption of constant roll rate in detail and presents the significant part of the stability boundary obtained by means of an approximation to the stability criterion. The presentation enables a single boundary to be plotted that relates to the stable and unstable regions of aircraft roll motion and allows for a more convenient presentation of the inverse problem involving the determination of the stiffness required to ensure stability.
