Low-speed normal force and pitching moment of slender wings in ground effect
ESDU 71007 provides a simple means of estimating the change in normal force and pitching moment of slender wings at low speeds due to the presence of the ground. The method, which is semi-empirical, applies strictly to pointed slender wings of aspect ratio less than about 2 with an unswept trailing-edge, only small amounts of camber or twist and with separation along the whole of the leading-edge.
